About us
Welcome to Blooming Lights
Welcome to Blooming Lights Montessori school, a private day school for girls and boys from three months to 17 years.
Here in Blooming Lights, we pay close attention to the method of instruction. We know children are unique individuals with different intelligences; we therefore put into consideration their interests and intelligences in order to plan for all our programmes. We make use of 21st century teaching tools to ensure we give our children fun experiences in school.

School curriculum
Since 80% of a child's mental development takes place before the child is eight years old, quality education during this period is critical. In the Montessori tradition, each class is a prepared environment, alive with a wealth of intriguing materials.
At the elementary level, we deliver an integrated curriculum with a rich blend of the Nigerian curriculum, the British curriculum, and the Montessori curriculum.

Special education
Special Education Unit
This department caters for children with special learning challenges who require a different method of learning. Each child in this category works with a trained personal teacher so they can unfold as expected — connecting educator and pupil so expectations can be met.

A prepared Montessori environment for ages 1–5. Practical life, sensory, language, mathematics, cultural studies, and creative arts — paced for each child.
